About the Studio

Lauren McGrath is an enthusiastic music teacher who is very keen to share her passion for quality music education with children and adults alike. Over the last 7 years, Lauren has run a successful private music studio, encouraging students on their musical journey. Lauren teaches many instruments including Violin, Viola, Cello, and Piano. Lessons involve tuition on the instrument as well as theory and aural skills training to assist the students' comprehensive musical development.

Music Lessons give enjoyment, nurture creative expression, and instil discipline in the students who participate in them. Music tuition also creates unique opportunities for students to learn not only just musical lessons, but life lessons as well, that develop confidence, character, and other valuable attributes in their lives. This, to me, is one of the most rewarding aspects of being a music teacher.
